Bible Doctrine

New Edition!

Bible Doctrine is a site that emphasizes Paul’s “gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20.24), that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15.1-4). The Corinthian passage is the clearest definition of Paul’s gospel which is the “power of salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1.16-17). The articles have been written to reveal God’s love and His wonderful salvation for all who will believe and to inform, encourage, and strengthen believers in the Christian faith and life.

Three factors are essential for correct biblical interpretation: 1) understanding the Scriptures are God-breathed (θεόπνευστος, 2 Timothy 3.16) 2) understanding God has progressively revealed the Scriptures within a structural framework, and 3) maintaining a sound, consistent interpretative method (hermeneutic). A normal, non-symbolic or figurative, hermeneutic is essential for sound interpretation for the areas of theology: soteriology, Christology, Israelology, ecclesiology, anthropology, pneumatology, angelology, and eschatology.

The Just Live by Faith - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:16-17 (NKJV)
